Easy Share Code (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores the following information only on your device:

  • Share codes you enter
  • Expiry dates you set
  • Language preference
  • Apple Wallet pass data (stored in Apple Wallet)

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Analytics

We use no analytics or tracking SDKs within the app itself. The website (easysharecode.com) uses Google Analytics to understand website traffic. This does not affect app usage.

App Store Data

Apple may collect standard usage data (crash reports, app usage statistics) as described in Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to any personally identifiable information from these reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information because we do not collect it. Your share codes and personal data remain entirely on your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • All share code data is stored locally using iOS secure storage mechanisms
  • Apple Wallet passes are managed by iOS and protected by your device’s security (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode)
  • We have no server infrastructure that stores user data
  • Deleting the app removes all locally stored data

4. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. Specifically:

  • No advertising SDKs
  • No analytics SDKs
  • No social media SDKs
  • No crash reporting services that collect personal data

5. Children’s Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and contains no objectionable content.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All data is under your control on your device.

If you wish to delete your data:

  • Delete individual share codes within the app
  • Remove the Apple Wallet pass from your Wallet
  • Uninstall the app to remove all stored data
